Assignment title: Why it is important for health and social care workers to understand research about different stages of human development and behaviour?
The discussion should include:
1. A description of some ‘typical’ development and or behaviours in human development.
2. An outline of the key biological and social influences affecting those behaviours, with reference to the Nature/Nurture debate. use 2 theories for this argument
3. An outline of at least one condition, which may lead an individual to present ‘atypical’ patterns of development and or behaviour(eg Autism, Downs’ syndrome, ADHD, Dementia, etc….)
4.Reflect upon how research can inform practice- you may wish to reflect upon an atypical behaviour or human aspect of development and how research has led us to understand the condition to improve health and wellbeing.
