Review the companies financials. You can use any financial search website such as Google Finance, MSN money, Yahoo Money, Market Watch, and many more. On the home page of the financial website put in the stock ticker symbol for your company and all their info will appear.

Paper Formatting: Papers are to be formatted as follows:

-Typed12 point font 

-Double spaced

-Title page attached with students name and company you chose. (the title page does not count as part of the total word count)

-Headings on each section (Introduction, conclusion, etc.)

-Page numbers 

-Papers must be turned in to the correct assignment box located on CANVAS. Professor’s computer and CSN computers use MS Word. To ensure professor can open paper use MS Word Document. 

-Works sited. (Works sited does not count as part of the required word count). List all website you used on a separate works sited page. Site all work you use in the body of the paper.

Step 1: Select your company!!!! Must be publicly traded in the US. Make sure they have a stock ticker symbol. Just google the company’s ticker symbol. If they have one it will be the first thing google returns. Example: If I search Amazon Stock Ticker Symbol. The first thing that pops up is that their ticker is AMZN and they are traded on the Nasdaq. Then the current stock price is shown, etc.

Step 2: Review the companies financials. You can use any financial search website such as Google Finance, MSN money, Yahoo Money, Market Watch, and many more. On the home page of the financial website put in the stock ticker symbol for your company and all their info will appear. Look for a tab called “Financials” and that will guide you to the 3 financial statements.

Step 3. Review all 3 financial statements and their most recent quarterly (and yearly) release will be on the financial webpages. Look for a tab to switch from quarterly to annual.

Step 4. Begin looking at each financial statement and start analyzing what you see.

Step 5. Review the example paper and directions for what you need to be looking at and start formatting your paper
